Mission Statement:
Project SHARE focuses on reducing disparities among Tufts and local communities by advancing access to health care, and providing resources and education in support of the universal right to health.
Our Organization:
Selected undergraduates can volunteer at the Sharewood Project in Malden, MA alongside Tufts Medical students and physicians. Volunteers are responsible for client intake, client flow throughout the project, and initial client assessment. Specifically, undergraduate students discuss services with clients, create files, and triage clients. If you're interested in applying for this position, feel free to reach out!
Health Outreach CommitteeThe Health Outreach Committee works to improve the accessibility and awareness of the Sharewood Project. The committee works on year-long projects and resources that are specific to the needs of the clinic community in Malden, MA. Past semester's project entailed compiling a booklet of immigrant health resources for patients at the Sharewood Project.

The Fundraising Committee is responsible for organizing fundraising initiatives and for promoting ongoing services for Project SHARE. This group has small events throughout the year as well as large semester long projects. By joining the Fundraising Committee, you can directly aid the projects in both Health Outreach and Public Health Committee!
Public Health CommitteeThe Project SHARE Public Health Committee (PHC) is a project oriented committee that works on several public health projects serving the Tufts community and local communities. We are currently working on projects with the Mystic Learning Center, Community Cooks, Period Poverty groups, and many more!
